Social Media Specialist
Kamloops, BC
As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll work with an inclusive, hands-on, collaborative team creating unique and engaging content for customers in Kamloops.
What you do:
  • Create engaging and inspiring content that supports clients businesses and goals.
  • Ensure content planning, production, and publishing is on time and on brief.
  • Maintain and update an editorial content calendar.
  • Review and analyze social KPI’s on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Action feedback from reports, analyses, and recommendations into concrete plans.
  • Research trends, emerging technology, and opportunities to innovate within the social space.

What you bring:
  • Relevant experience and or education in social media, communications, or marketing.
  • Great communication skills – you’re a problem-solver, not a problem creator. This goes for both speaking and writing. Savviness with the social media ecosystem and understanding how to effectively manage a social community.
  • Understanding of popular social networks - design, functionality, users.
  • Ability to handle projects, lots of projects, at the same time, while keeping your cool and managing your time effectively
  • Demonstrated experience using social media management tools at an enterprise level (e.g. Hootsuite).
  • Ability to think and act strategically.
  • A good attitude when contributing to a team, and a focused mind when working solo.
  • Personal participation in social networking and online communities.

  • A strategic customer service orientation, with the ability to form long-term relationships with your customers.
  • A quick study, you’re willing to learn, grow and expand with your role as demand builds.
  • Able to work well on your own and in a collaborative team environment, and have the positive attitude to set an example for your peers.
  • A hunter, the word “driven” is an understatement when it comes to your work ethic.

This is a Telephone Sales role where you will be acquiring new SMB clients from various markets across the country. As a Digital Media Sales Representative – Inside Sales , you will be responsible for calling SMB owners to make service & solution recommendations that are aligned with success for all parties.
